everybody worth knowing

I read this in a bookstore today. It’s by local writer Yvonne Lee, an air-stewardess turned newspaper columnist.

The most memorable story in this roman a clef is of a female passenger who kept mysteriously disappearing into the loo with several (yes, more than one a time) men, until the chief steward intervened and found out she was prostituting herself on the flight! Talk about joining the Mile High Club..

(This is closely followed by the couple who were going at it in the tiny space between the last row of seats and the galley, until they got stuck and could only be extricated by a team of flight engineers after landing!)

In times of severe boredom, this is good for a few laughs…so check it out! 🙂

Lead me not into temptation; I can find the way myself..”
